The following Terms & Conditions are designed to ensure your safety, satisfaction, and comfort. Please read them carefully, as they outline the rights and responsibilities of both parties.
1. Booking & Payment
- To confirm your chosen trip or course, a deposit or full payment is required. The deposit amount—typically minimum 30%-40% of the total package price—will be specified in your itinerary.
- If you request flight bookings through us, you must provide accurate and complete ID information. Full payment is required prior to processing the reservation and only after your approval of the proposed flight itinerary.
- We are not responsible for incorrect information provided by you for flight bookings. Any losses or additional costs incurred will be your responsibility.
2. Flight Delays & Airline Responsibility
- We are unable to provide assistance for delays at your outbound or return point of departure. The airline may provide limited support such as refreshments.
- We cannot be held liable for any delays caused by circumstances outlined in these Terms, including the behavior of passengers (e.g., failure to check in or board on time). We are not liable for delays that significantly impact your holiday arrangements.
3. Cancellations & Refunds
- If you cancel your booking for any reason, no refund will be issued unless you refer another person to take over your booking. Bookings are not transferable to other trips.
- If we cancel the trip (excluding situations described in Section 4), you may be eligible for a full refund depending on the local dive operator’s policy, or your booking may be credited toward a future trip.
4. Force Majeure
- In the event of a force majeure situation at the dive destination, we are not liable for any losses or damages incurred. “Force majeure” refers to events beyond our or the dive center’s control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, war, civil unrest, terrorism or threats thereof, weather conditions, fire, and other unforeseeable circumstances.
5. Diving Requirements
- You must dive within the limits of your current certification and training agency standards. You are required to provide proof of certification and must be in good health.
- If you have a history of respiratory or lung conditions, asthma, epilepsy, diabetes, or recent surgery, you must present a current medical clearance from a licensed physician.
- If you experience respiratory congestion during the trip, you must stop diving.
- Failure to present valid certification or medical clearance (if applicable) may result in denial of diving activities, without eligibility for refund.
6. Liability Forms
- You are required to complete all necessary dive-related documents, including a medical questionnaire and liability release. If you decline to complete these forms, you will not be permitted to dive and no refund will be issued.
7. Trip Leader Responsibilities
- A designated Trip Leader will accompany your trip as a representative of Paradive Indonesia, providing supervision, assistance, and dive guiding.
- The Trip Leader is not responsible for any actions, issues, or damages caused by you or your group.
- If the Trip Leader behaves inappropriately or causes discomfort, danger, or distress to you or your party, you may file a written complaint via email. Appropriate action will be taken.
8. Pricing
- All prices are subject to change without prior notice based on updates from our partners or operators. In the event of a price adjustment, you will be informed.
- If you do not agree to the updated price, you may cancel your booking and receive a full refund.
9. Insurance
- We are an authorized agent of DAN (Divers Alert Network) Insurance. Our assistance is limited in the event of a dive accident.
- In such cases, you or your family must contact DAN directly for claims or emergency support.
10. Dive Equipment Warranty
- Warranties for dive equipment purchased through us are subject to the policies of the manufacturer or authorized distributor.
